cockamamy

By Louise Coullthard

Cockamamy. Adj. Ludicrous or nonsensical.

Alice and her granddaughter Rosie are a team. They live together, eat together, watch Countdown together. Until things start to become ludicrous. Nonsensical. Cockamamy is a heartwarming, heartbreaking story about companionship, that explores the reality of living with dementia.

Cockamamy previewed at The Camden Fringe Festival in 2016 and went on to have a successful at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017, where the production picked up the Summerhall Lustrum Award. In 2018 it had a run at the Hope Theatre, Islington.
